Two corrections to the list:
1. Pearls don't MELT in vinegar, they DISSOLVE in vinegar. Melting is a process by which a solid turns into a liquid, dissolution is where the bonds of an ionic compound are broken and the molecule dissociates and randomly diffuses in the solvent.
Pearls dissolve in vinegar because they are made of nacre - a form of calcium carbonate - which is a base. Vinegar is an acid. It's the same reaction as when you take Tums to stop heartburn, or when rain dissolves limestone to make caves.
2. Venus - and all other planets - rotate counterclockwise around their axis. From our perspective on Earth, Venus rotates clockwise because the planet's axis is tilted by 178 degrees; i.e., the planet is turned upside down from our perspective.
See, just like women, Venus is doing nothing different than any other planet, but she is misunderstood because men don't know how to see her in the proper perspective.
