Prayers, please, for the family of Larry Jones, who drowned this past weekend. He was a classmate of mine at St. Mark Elementary and his family are members of our parish.

Incline Your ear, O Lord, unto our prayers, wherein we humbly pray You to show Your mercy upon the soul of Your servant Larry Jones, whom You have commanded to pass out of this world, that you would place him in the region of peace and light, and bid him be partaker with Your Saints. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Almighty and merciful God, who hast commissioned Thy angels to guide and protect us, command them to be their assiduous companions from their setting out until their return; to clothe them with their invisible protection; to keep from them all danger of collision, of fire, of explosion, of fall and bruises, and finally, having preserved them from all evil, and especiallyf rom sin, to guide them to our heavenly home.
